TMobile G2 Phone Teaser Leaks – On Wednesday, the promotional page launch of the T-Mobile G2 happened. What didn’t happen was much information being released about this new phone. So far, what was said in the two paragraph statement was, essentially that it will break new ground in the smartphone market. How it will do this, they didn’t actually state.
Maybe it’ll break new ground for it to fall into if it flops?
“The T-Mobile G2 will deliver tight integration with Google services and break new ground as the first smartphone designed to run at 4G speeds on our new HSPA+ network,” reads promo copy posted to the G2 satellite site. There is no release date, no photos, just a very poor teaser. Not enough to get anyone excited, really.

The G1 was released into the world by T-Mobile in October 2008. Being the first handset to run Google’s Android mobile operating system. Apple’s iPhone currently holds the market with a tight grip, and not many phones are thought to even come close to breaking Apple’s hold. The G1 was seen as a massive chance of doing so, and sold 1 million units within six months, a good amount.
With information about the G2 being scant, either it has exciting secrets to hold, or it’s going to be a flop.
