World Cup 2010 Scores

June 14, 2010 by · Leave a Comment

World Cup 2010 Scores – The FIFA World Cup 2010 brackets after Day 3 look very different than most would have guessed at the beginning of the tournament. For one, no one thought that Japan would be able to win their match. They were seated much lower than Cameroon, and most experts expected that they would lose the match. Instead, they were able to pull off the surprise victory and come storming the second half for the victory.

The first game that was played on the 13th was Algeria vs Slovenia. Slovenia was able to narrowly win the match, winning 1-0 over the Algerians. The score was low, but both teams missed a number of opportunities to score and were ultimately unable to secure a goal in the closing minutes of the game. Ghana went on to play Serbia as well, and also beat them by a score of 1-0, earning them 3 points in their group.

Germany would later take on Australia, and beat them by a score of 4-0. The 2006 World Cup took place in Germany, and the Italians were able to come away with the victory in that world cup, but are not expected to perform as well this time around.

Here are the World Cup Scores for Monday June 14th 2010

NED 2 – 0 DEN
JPN 1 – 0 CMR
ITA 1 – 1 PAR
