Tom Cruise MTV MOVIE AWARDS 2010:Les Grossman Jennifer Lopez Video – Tom Cruise and Jennifer Lopez stole the show at the MTV Movie Awards last night. Cruise, 47, was playing his “Tropic Thunder” character Les Grossman, who was among the funniest characters in movies last year. He is a hairy, foul mouthed tycoon who has control of a large movie studio. He was overbearing, loud and crude in Tropic Thunder, and Cruise does a great job channeling his inner creepiness during his appearance at the MTV Movie Awards.
Cruise also wore some gold sneakers along with a gold ringed tuxedo that looked hilarious on the character. Cruise was playing the part to promote his upcoming movie in which he stars alongside Cameron Diaz “Knight and Day.” He kicked his way around the stage, taking a page from Michael Jackson’s playbook, and looking hilarious doing so.
J-Lo was also dancing around on stage, but was unable to draw attention away from Cruise playing Grossman. J-Lo did what looked to be a normal routine for her that you might see at one of her shows, and her performance seemed a little bit awkward alongside Cruise’s performance, which was more like stand up comedy.
Cruise also gave Lopez a slap on the butt during the performance. It was a great way to end an exciting award show.It was one of the most memorable moments in recent history.
