Joran Van der Sloot Murder Suspect Update – Investigations have revealed that the suspect, Joran Van der Sloot, has been associated with two high-profile murders that were committed exactly five years apart. It was determined that the murders are probably the work of a serial killer.
Octavio Salazar, the Interior Minister said, “We are likely dealing with a serial murderer.” The suspected murderer has returned to Peru to face charges. The suspected serial murderer exited a Chilean police transport aircraft. As he left the plane he was quickly apprehended by the authorities of the Tacna border town.
Only one day earlier, he was arrested in Chile trying to run away to a seaside resort. This was quick work by the authorities as the suspect had only been running for five days.
Van der Sloot had no comments for reporters as they shouted questions at him while he was being escorted to jail. Chile investigators said he did not admit to killing Stephany Flores.
At the age of 22, he is the leading suspect in the killing of Flores in the hotel room he was renting in Lima last Sunday. This was exactly 5 years since the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba. Both times, Van der Sloot was seen in the company of the women late at night.
It is suspected that funding for his attempt to escape capture was $5,000 in casino winnings he stole from Flores. Along with releasing that information, the Chilean authorities also stated that he paid $620 to take a cab from Lima to Chile. Information from the cab driver revealed that Van der Sloot was traveling light with only two bags and was so nervous that he was chain-smoking as he made his escape the morning after killing Flores. The revelation about his capacity for violence was reiterated by Florez’ father agreeing with Salazar’s assessment.
Ricardo Florez, the father of the latest victim said that this just is not a random act of coincidence, it is outright murder.Ricardo who used to race cars said “There are other cases of this nature pending in Aruba and no one knows if there are other murders that still require punishment.” The latest 21 year old victim, Stephany Flores, was so battered with brute force beating that her neck had been broken. There was evidence of many bruises and scratches on her dead body. There was no weapon found at the murder scene or elsewhere leading investigators to believe that the murderer committed the act with his bare hands. While the suspect was in custody, prosecutors in Alabama made the accusation that Van der Sloot tried to bargain the location of the previous victim in exchange for $250,000. Information in the court papers is elusive and no mention of the identity of the other party in the extortion plot was revealed. But the papers do indicate that the suspected serial killer collected $15,000 of the asking price. The family of Natalee Holloway lives in Mountain Brook, Alabama.
I would like to know if Stephanie was wearing the same clothes when her body was discovered that she had on when she entered the room with Joran. My prayers are with these families. How unspeakable and sad. Stephanie and Natalie were beautiful young girls with their lives ahead of them. Joran also has his life ahead of him but now, unfortunately, because of his choices, his life doesn’t look very bright.
“Unfortunately”? He dug his own grave, now time to lie in it.
I’d like to know what O.J. thinks about all this…
No, no, no, they have it all wrong! He was set up! They went to the room together and Stephany gave him her money to go to Chile to buy her some cocaine. After a couple of days, she figured that he screwed her out of the money and wasn’t coming back. She then beat the hell out of herself, stabbed herself a couple of times, then broke her own neck to set him up and make it look like he did it! She planted those bloody clothes in his bag before hand for insurance just in case!
It doesn’t take a degree in criminology to figure out the facts and fill out the blanks here. The guy’s a killer and a maniac and it’s high time he’s put behind bars.
Personally, I deplore the actions of his completely misguided parents. I am sure his mother still isn’t getting it though, that’s how thick she is.
I hope the laws and the justice system is not a liberal as we have in the United States………..He will probably admitt to Natalee Holloway murder in Aruba so he can skate with a easy sentence………….we need the electric chair or something painfull
Why oh why did Stephanie go with Joran to his room especially at that hour in the morning? That troubles me.
I don’t think the DATE with the Holloway girl has anything to do with it.
He will pay big time, they have him now
How can his mother possibley still think he is innocent? I cannot imagine how hard it must be, as I am a mother, but……….
