Mariah Carey Pregnant – According to recent reports, famed R&B singer Mariah Carey is pregnant. The speculation was sparked recently that she was pregnant after she pulled out of her upcoming role in a Tyler Perry film. Her husband, Nick Cannon, has stated that fans should not jump to conclusions just yet. He went on to say that she would reveal the information regarding the pregnancy when she was ready to do so, assuming there is even an announcement to make.
Cannon teased fans last week, saying that it was the family dog that was pregnant with puppies that that Mariah was excited to become a mother two a number of furry friends. Cannon has reportedly been upset about the the coverage of the incident, saying that women who have to deal with public scrutiny should be left alone, especially in regard to their private life. If she is indeed pregnant, Cannon has said that she should announce it when she is ready.
A source close to the family confirmed that she is indeed pregnant but was waiting until after the first trimester to make the announcement. It is not clear if that is still the plan with all of the recent rumors floating around, she may just decide to make the announcement even sooner.
Nick Cannon, 29, has neither confirmed or denied the rumors. Cannon had previously stated on his Twitter page a year ago that the couple was planning on having kids, but when they decided to they would be sure to let the world know.
