Mexico vs Gambia:Seleccion Mexicana De Futbol – On May 30th, Mexico will be facing off in a touch match against Gambia. The match will be the International match, and will be held at Hans Walter Wild Stadium. Mexico is confident that they will be able to hold off Gambia’s strikers and will come out on top. Many of the experts also seem to agree with that sentiment. Mexico has blamed their recent poor performance on a lack of focus, and will be ready to make a come back to the team they know they can be against Gambia.
The Mexican team has been able to show steady improvement throughout the last few months, winning a number of their matches. They also qualified for the 2010 Football World Cup, a feat that many thought they would not be able to complete. The match will be blogged about on sites around the Internet as soon as the kick off takes place, and will likely be one of the more exciting matches that fans will see.
Mexico has to come out and prove that they are no longer the underdogs, and have turned a terrible year around into something salvageable. Now, no one is kidding themselves and thinks that Mexico will truly be able to compete for the World Cup, but their recent quick turnaround has shown that talent was never the issue with the team, and that they just needed to get their collective heads turned in the same direction.
This game will serve as an excellent warm up for the World Cup.
