Lorena Ochoa Retires – Sometimes golf is associated with retirement, it seems like a lot of our older generation turns to golf when they retire from their jobs as it provides a sort of relaxing and enjoyable sport that isn’t demanding on your body. However, professional golfer Lorena Ochoa has announced that she will be retiring. Lorena is just 28 years old and it is the second time in just the last 3 years of the LPGA Tour that a big star has decided to end his career. Lorena is from Mexico and she announced her decision to retire on her own website which also highlighted some of her plans for this Friday. Sher has placed number one in the world for three years in a row and has managed to win 27 different times in the last six years. She might very well be known as one of the best all around athletes that her country has ever seen. This of course, being aside from their long list of highly recognized soccer players.
It is said that there were some more reasons to her retirement and details about why she retired so early that were disclosed in the private press conference that took place on Friday in Mexico City. Lorena is expected to share the sad news of her retirement with her family and sponsors as well as her friends very shortly. She is looking to start a new and exciting stage in her life. She is still scheduled to play next week at the Tres Marias in Morelia which is just west of Mexico City. It is still not announced whether or not she will be attending for her last game. Perhaps the Kraft Nabisco Championship which is in California where she finished fourth in the years first major will be her last game instead.
