Tinley Park Home Invasion – It’s always a scary thought when you see cops walking down driveways with fully loaded M16′s and pistols drawn ready for any trouble. Not to mention the very intimidating bullet proof vests and helmets that seem to always accompany their wardrobe. Well in recent hours reporters have been sending in floods of messages and pictures about cops hunting down suspects which are believed to be around the Tinley Park homes. Helicopters and entire task forces were called to the scene and like always they have their canines to back them up in case we need their expert noses to find the criminals.
When cops burst into one of the homes very early this morning it is said that they injured two residents of the home and the suspects were then placed into custody and police say there could be as many as four others on the run that are armed and very dangerous. The invasion happened late at night just at about 4 a.m. in the morning in the 9100 block of Basswood Drive. The police reported that they got a call about a male in his home with a gun. The caller was said to be inside the home hiding from the man with the gun.
When police arrived to the scene they were able to witness one suspect hurting a resident of the home. There are at least four other people who are believe to live in the same home so they were making sure to remain very cautious. However, as they entered the house the suspects proceeded to break down doors and windows in able to flee the house. Only one of them was caught just as he was trying to jump inside a vehicle right near the house. Schools went on a soft lock down alert and kids weren’t allowed to leave the building. The manhunt is continuing and is said to be very rare for this area.
