IRS Extension Form 2009 – Running a little late on your taxes. Every year individuals who were not able to file their taxes on time, for one reason or another, are able to send in an IRS extension form for their 2009 taxes. This form is known as IRS form 4868, and is also known as the tax extension form 2010. If you believe that you will be needing to mail your taxes in a little late, it is absolutely essential that you mail an extension form in instead. This form documents the fact that you acknowledge that you will be sending your taxes in a little behind schedule. Ensure that you know where you are mailing the form as well.
