Brett Favre Grandfather:Daughter Brittany Nicole Favre Gave Birth – NFL quarterback and future hall of famer Brett Favre may have left Minnesota fans wondering whether or not he will be coming back next season, mostly because he has had more important matters to attend do. Brett Favre is now the first active grandfather to play in the National Football League. His oldest daughter, Brittany Nicole Favre, who is 21 years old, gave birth to her first baby boy. The former Green Bay Packer has kept the news fairly quiet in recent weeks. At 40 years old, Brett does seem a little young to be a grandfather already. However, his daughter is 21, and Favre was only 19 when his daughter was born.
The news let some to speculate that Favre would be retiring from the NFL because of the birth of his first grandson. This is unlikely to affect his decision that much though, because he has been aware of the pregnancy for quite some time and has made no mention of it affecting his decision previously.
Favre has had an amazing NFL career that is sure to land him an appearance in the Hall of Fame. He is the National Football League’s all time leader in passing yards, touchdowns, consecutive games played, interceptions, among other stats. Favre is just three touchdowns shy of becoming the first player in the history of the league to throw 500 career touchdowns. Some have speculated that Brett would like to reach that milestone before he retires and that may affect his decision to come back for another season. Favre has been to two Superbowls throughout his career, beating the New England Patriots in his first attempt, and losing to John Elway and the Denver Broncos on his second attempt. Last year he led the Minnesota Vikings to the conference championship game.
