Jenson Button Aiming For Malaysian Grand Prix 2010 Win After Australian Grand Prix – The Australian Grand Prix is always one that is anticipated by both the drivers and the fans. This year’s GP was certainly not going to disappoint, with a action packed race that eventually saw Jenson Button take down the win!
Sebastian Vettel looked good in the early going. Problems started to set though and eventually Sebastian Vettel was forced to retire thanks to braking problems
Robert Kubica was among the racers who really looked good. His aggressive driving style meant that he was able to hold off the charge from both Ferraris driven by Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso – claiming second place in style.
Mark Webber seemed to be having the drive of his life, and Lewis Hamilton the opposite. Eventually the pair collided just as Hamilton was challenging Alonso for fourth place; Hamilton eventually finished in a disappointing sixth place.
The drive by Hamilton was controversial. Mid point in the race his team decided to bring him in for a change in tires due to the change in weather. Of course, Hamilton had already had one stop, which meant he would have fresh tires once more, but would be lagging behind.
Obviously frustrated by the teams strategy on race day, Hamilton commented “Unfortunately because of the strategy I got put back and then I drove my heart out today and I think I deserved better”.
One driver, who didn’t seem to be on par with previous performances, was Michael Schumacher. The world champion seemed to struggle in the early going and eventually finished 10th.
Jenson Button who won the Wild Australian Grand Prix is hoping to be victorious in today’s Malaysian Grand Prix 2010.
