Athens Bombing

Athens Bombing – It seems that the news these days is always bad. A recent report explains how a bomb blast in Athens, Greece managed to kill a 15 year old boy and injure a 10 year old girl and her Mother. All were outside a civil service school at the time of the blast, although at this point there is no motive, suspects or any relevant information connecting any one to the attack.
According to the police the boy, who stumbled onto a bag near bins which contained the bomb, was killed instantly. The 10 year old girl was admitted to a local hospital to get treatment for burns on her hands and face, whilst the Mother was treated for minor injuries and shock.
As far as the situation goes, it seems there is a mass state of confusion. Since a Policeman shot dead a teenager back in 2008 in Athens, several attacks have been made, but no culprits have ever been found.
Some have blamed the recent attacks and even this one on far-left and anarchist groups, although as of yet there has been little or no proof to confirm this. Of course, over time they will leave obvious tracks allowing the police to catch up to them – lets just hope it isn’t too late!
Just last week three bombings targeted a set of offices in an ultra right wing party building, a Police station and even a Pakistani leaders home, sparking confusion and fear throughout the community.
