Nada Prouty On 60 Minutes – Now, doesn’t it seem quite ironic that an Ex FBI & CIA terrorism fighter is now being tried for the exact same thing she tried to prevent over all these years. Well, that is the current case for Nada Prouty, who has recently been pointed out as someone who pled guilty to unauthorized use of an FBI computer and naturalization fraud.
Some of the major cases that she is connected to from her career in the FBI & CIA include:
2000: Terrorists bombed the USS Cole. The unfortunate events managed to kill 17 American Sailors and injure a handful of others in the process.
2002: Investigation into the assassination of USAID diplomat Laurence Foley in Jordan.
Whilst the press and governing bodies continue to point the finger at Nada Prouty, she continues to deny any wrong doing in the course of her employment. In fact, she goes on to mention that she feels her work was nothing other than patriotic.
According to the Justice Department, she has dedicated herself to her country and has sworn to be a noble and dedicated American. Therefore, they make no exceptions for her prosecution.
Whether she is innocent or not, some will beg to give their own opinion. All that can be said is that her career is damaged in a huge way by such scandal – any patriotic moves she has made before are not likely to occur again.
